Mold Inspection Ocala, FL

Information About Mold in Ocala, FL

How Toxic is Mold

Not all types of mold are toxic. That is a common misconception. There are two common types of mold that produce mycotoxins: Stachybotrys Chartarum and Penecillium.

Effects of Mold Exposure

Common effects to the exposure to mold are headaches, itching, rash, and eye irritation.  The severity depends on the levels and length of exposure to mold. Of course, more serious health issues can arise from extreme exposure.

Mold Awareness

Mold can be found everywhere and can cause issues when it reaches certain levels. Testing for these levels can ensure your safety. Since mold can be found everywhere, there are no guaranteed safe environments.

Mold Factors

For mold to grow, a specific amount of moisture is needed. In addition to the proper temperature, this moisture is the main factor for mold to spread and needs to be addressed.

Three people conducted a thorough general inspection, termite inspection and a wind inspection. They tested all appliances, the HVAC, water heater, sprinkler system, and the fire alarm. They also inspected all components of the house, including roof, foundation and water. In short, this was the most thorough inspection I have ever seen Duane, Mona and Tai, were very nice folks to work with and very informative
